What the work produced

Case studies, the press coverage and distribution delivered for client organizations, and the Florida provider network built alongside them. Healthcare engagements carry confidentiality constraints, so what is published here is what can be published.

Shekinah Global Healthcare Foundation

Healthcare public relations, media relations, and strategic communications for a United States based nonprofit running free surgical missions in Nigeria.

Nonprofit · Global health · National PR · shekinahglobalfoundation.org

About the client. Shekinah Global Healthcare Foundation was founded by Dr. Adeolu Adeboye, a trauma and general surgeon at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital, to deliver free medical, dental, eye, surgical and pharmaceutical care to underserved communities. Working alongside partners including Pro Health International and Americares, its missions have drawn roughly 50 physicians and more than 100 volunteers, treating between 600 and 1,000 patients a day.

The challenge

A surgical mission is a fixed date with a fixed funding requirement, which makes it the hardest kind of story to promote. The September 20 to 26 mission in Ibadan, Nigeria needed donations and volunteers in hand before departure, and the foundation had national caliber subject matter, a US trauma surgeon returning to the country he was born in for his fifth mission since 2024, with almost no media footprint carrying it. Nonprofits in this position usually issue a single release and hope. The constraint was not the story. It was that nobody in a newsroom knew it existed, and the deadline could not move.

The strategy

We built the campaign around the surgeon rather than around the organization, because a named clinician travelling home to operate is a story a broadcast desk will run and a foundation announcement is not. Two coordinated waves: national wire distribution announcing the mission and carrying the donor appeal, timed so pickups compounded through the weeks before departure, then direct journalist outreach into the Tampa Bay market where Dr. Adeboye practices, pitching the local angle to broadcast news. Every placement pointed back to the same donation path, so coverage did work rather than only creating awareness.

The outcome

A broadcast news feature on FOX 13 Tampa Bay, syndicated onward to Yahoo News and AOL, two press releases published on AP News, and pickup of those releases across national wire and regional news sites, all landing ahead of the mission date. The foundation went from effectively no media footprint to a searchable body of national coverage that now supports every future appeal, and Velocity Revenue Partners continues to run its public relations.

Internal Medicine MD

Digital marketing infrastructure, a high-reach social content system, and ongoing patient acquisition systems for a two-location internal medicine practice, led by its Marketing Director.

Hudson & Trinity, FL · Internal medicine · Marketing leadership engagement · Affiliated practice · internalmedicinehealth.com

About the client. Internal Medicine MD is an independent internal medicine practice serving adult patients in Hudson and Trinity, Florida. Disclosure: Justin Miller serves as the practice's Marketing Director, so this is a working relationship rather than an arm's length engagement. The results below describe this engagement only and are not a prediction of results for any other organization. Clinical decisions rest with the practice's licensed providers.

The challenge

The practice was not yet receiving new patient lead submissions through its digital channels. The opportunity was to build the infrastructure that would turn its online presence into a consistent source of new patient inquiries.

The strategy

Rebuilt the practice's digital marketing infrastructure from the ground up, then installed a content marketing system built for high reach and engagement on social media. As the practice's Marketing Director, Justin continues to develop its patient acquisition systems so that digital attention converts into new patient inquiries.

The outcome

Since the engagement began, the practice has moved from no digital lead submissions to approximately 2 to 3 new patient lead submissions per week through its digital channels, and the volume continues to climb as the patient acquisition systems are optimized. On social media, the practice's Facebook page grew from about 400 followers to more than 16,000 in three months and generated over 5 million views in that same window, and growth continues across Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Lead figures are approximate and reflect digital lead form submissions rather than booked appointments or revenue. Follower and view counts are platform reported, and the work is ongoing.

Synergy Health

Brand identity and website build for a two-location medical aesthetics, medical weight loss, wellness, and regenerative medicine practice, led by its marketing lead rather than an outside vendor.

Trinity & Ocala, FL · Medical aesthetics & regenerative medicine · Start up practice · Marketing leadership engagement · synergyhealthmed.com

About the client. Synergy Health is a physician-led medical aesthetics, medical weight loss, wellness, and regenerative medicine practice with locations in Trinity and Ocala, Florida, co-owned by Dr. John Hanna, MD and Dr. Brent Carter, DPM, alongside providers Amanda and Miranda. Justin Miller leads marketing for the brand, a business and marketing role. Clinical decisions rest with the practice's licensed providers.

The challenge

Synergy Health needed to launch as a credible, physician-led alternative in a category crowded with med spas that have no clinical infrastructure behind them, across two locations with different emphases, aesthetics-led in Trinity and health optimization and longevity-led in Ocala, without either location reading as an afterthought.

The strategy

Built the brand and website around the practice's real differentiators rather than category conventions: same-provider continuity, real bloodwork before treatment is started, and transparent written pricing, with four connected service lines, medical weight loss, medical aesthetics, wellness, and regenerative medicine, presented as one coordinated system instead of a menu of add-ons.

The outcome

The Synergy Health website is live for both locations, with a unified brand and a positioning that separates the practice from the med spa category it competes in. Synergy Health is a brand new start up practice, and the engagement is now in the phase of building the practice out over time. No performance results are published yet.

I am not a tech person and when Google locked my business account I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Justin said he could help and took over. Several back/forth getting info from me about business....he stayed on top of it and kep me in the loop during the entire process. Alas....my business account is visible and working! Highly recommend Velocity Revenue Partners
